InDesign CS5

InDesign has become the DTP operator’s programme of choice because of it’s integration with other Adobe products and it’s flexible and fast workflow in creating incredible, stylish and simply beautiful publications.
InDesign is a leader in e-publishing, allowing the user to very quickly turn their static print documents into dynamic, interactive and compelling electronic publications and magazines for web browsers, handheld devices and tablets.
There is a total of 8 lessons and each lesson is a maximum of 2 hours depending on the pace of the learner/s.
Learners will receive a full set of notes for each lesson in PDF format containing explanations, exercises covered in class etc… Additionally learners will receive supplementary tutorials and videos as-well-as exercises files.

  • Page Setup / Snippets / Working with Pages / Master Pages
  • Page and Section Numbering
  • Working with Text / Working with Graphics and Bridge
  • Fill & Stroke / Transparency and Effects
  • Interactivity and E-publishing
  • Working with Colour / Layers / Working with Content
  • Transforming / Pathfinder / Typography Tips and Tricks
  • Styles / Tables / Preflight and Packaging / Imposition

Cost:

  • Single learner (one-on-one tuition): R525.00 per lesson, R4200.00 Total
  • Two to Five learners: R937.50 per lesson, R7500.00 Total
  • Six to Ten learners: R1125.00 per lesson, R9000.00 Total

Venue:

  • Single learner (one-on-one)
    • Lessons can take place either at my studio/home in central Durban, or at your home / office (whichever suits you)
  • Multiple learners
    • Lessons must take place on-site at your premesis (I am fully mobile and equipped with data projector etc…)
  • Note:
    • If I am required to travel beyond the Prospectin, Pinetown, La Lucia radius, an additional R50.00 per lesson will be levied to cover travel.
    • Training in other centres can be considered. Travel and accommodation would be for the clients account.

Certification:

  • Learners will receive certification upon the successful completion of an assignment.

Backup:

  • During and after the course, learners can (within reason) use me as an email resource if they require help with a particular course related item / issue.
